            As you know, Gary Con is an annual game convention celebrating the life and works of Gary Gygax, the Father of Role-Playing Games. We show our respect and appreciation by doing what he loved so much in life, playing games! By joining Gary’s children, friends, and fellow game enthusiasts, we celebrate a life well-played. 
 
            Please accept our sincerest wishes that YOU enjoy a life well-played this weekend, by accepting our invitation to game with a true legend, Gary’s own cousin, Xerces A. Gygax. Due to the very special nature of Mr. Gygax’s involvement with Gary Con XIV, he has graciously offered to host a round of Chaosium’s wonderful game, the Call of Cthulhu.
